abelsoffering: Meet the Band

Unformally formed in the summer of 2001 Abel's Offering is still in the infancy stage. The topic of forming a Christian Band had been discussed between Brian and Kevin for nearly three years, but it never really took root until Steve and Mike shared their interest with the other two. While material is only now being written, Abel's Offering hopes to soon begin practicing both original and worship material.

Brian will be attending Murrietta Bible College shortly, to better his knowledge of scripture. He has enjoyed working with youth in the past, and hopes to reach out to them in the future as well. He is twenty-two, and plans on playing bass for AO.

Kevin attends UCI in hopes of attaining degrees in Political Science and Sociology. Although he enjoys playing his old six string all day long, he aspires to being a high school government teacher, hence the degrees in the Social Sciences. He is twenty, and will play guitar and sing for AO.

Mike will be attending Riverside Community College in the near future. He would like to become a Firefighter after obtaining the needed training from college, so he can save lives on two levels... He turned twenty recently, and may sing and drum for AO.

Steve will soon be attending UCI, living in the dorms, and majoring in Criminology. He plans to pursue a career in the FBI, a job that he believes will be both fun, exciting, and rewarding. He is eighteen, and will play guitar and singfor AO.

abelsoffering: Read their Inspirations

Obviously it is the Holy Spirit that inspires the music and lyrics of AO, but the group will offer their own intrepretation and any other thoughts on their songs here. Give them a few days to collect those thoughts though.

An able offering to our Lord

There is an abundance of information available about the Lord of lords, the Triune God. By far the best source are the books in the Bible, Genesis or John are good places to start. You can also find materials on-line that discuss creation, salvation, prophecy, and so much more. We encourage you to devote time (and alot of it) to developing a strong relationship with and understanding of this Loving Creator, Savior, and Friend.
