He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

abelsoffering: Read their Inspirations

Kevin's Inspirations

Just want to thank God for gifting me with music and giving me something worth talking about. Writing and participating in this band has helped, and is helping me grow tremendously in my walk with Him.

So here's some of my inspirations:

Author and Perfecter comes directly from Hebrews 12:1,2. This song was written, as a worship song, after I heard a sermon that covered this verse. It speaks of giving all our plans and pains to our Father God. He is our Creator and can handle all the details. Simplify life, stay focused on Jesus.

Call Out is a commission that is given us in Isaiah 40. We are called to share the peace of God with everyone. The things of this world are fleeting, but the ways of God are eternal. We are to prepare the way for the next coming of Jesus; lay the mountains low, and let everyone know.

Campfire Psalms was written as an attempt to tell a simple story in a song. I once went river rafting with Mike and his youthgroup. At night we all gathered around the campfire and worshipped God for hours on end. The song speaks of God always being near, accessable, and worthy of praise. Our skin is only dust, the Lord alone is worthy of praise.

Gatorade is said to be better than water. Well, Christ offers us living water that will forever quench our thirst. While talking with a Samaritan woman at a well, He offered her this living water. This song is asking Christ to us a drank that is better than water. He should be my energy, He should be my strength. Is He in You?
